II. Information on data protection

1. Subject of this data protection declaration

The protection of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) is very important to us. We proceed with all data processing procedures (e.g. collection, processing and transmission) according to the legal regulations. On the basis of the following declaration, we would like to provide detailed information about which data is collected when you visit our website and use our offers there and how we process or use it in the following and which accompanying protective measures we have also taken in technical and organizational terms.

2. Responsible body / service provider

Flashtex GmbH is the responsible body within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and at the same time the service provider within the meaning of the Telemedia Act (TMG), see our imprint.

Please send questions or comments about this data protection declaration or data protection in general to the following e-mail address: contact@flashtex.de

3. Collection and use of your data

The scope and type of collection and use of your data differs depending on whether you visit our website only to access information or whether you use the services we offer:

a) Informational use

To use our website for informational purposes only, it is generally not necessary for you to provide personal data.

Rather, in this case we only collect and use your data that your internet browser automatically transmits to us, such as:

  • - Date and time of access to one of our websites
  • - your browser type
  • - the browser settings
  • - the operating system used
  • - the referrer URL
  • - the amount of data transferred and the access status (file transferred, file not found etc.) and
  • - your IP address.

We collect and use this data exclusively in non-personal form during an informative visit. This is done in order to even enable the use of the Internet pages you have accessed, for statistical purposes and to improve our Internet offering. We only save the IP address for the duration of your visit; a personal evaluation does not take place.

b) Use of the offers

However, if you want to use the services we offer on our website, you need to provide additional data. These are the data that are required for the respective processing, e.g. your name and postal address.

Your data is collected or used for the purpose of providing the service you require. In order to fulfill the contract concluded with us, the necessary personal data are forwarded to other service providers such as producers.

Your data will only be passed on to other third parties if we are legally obliged to do so.

4. Cookies

When you visit our website, it is possible that we store information in the form of a cookie or with a technology comparable to cookies on the computer or mobile device you are using (hereinafter collectively: "cookies").

Accepting such cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our website. However, we would like to point out that some functions are only possible if you allow us to set cookies.

a) What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that are stored on your data carrier and that save certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. Basically, a distinction is made between two different types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and temporary or permanent cookies, which are stored on your data carrier for a longer period or indefinitely. This storage helps us to design our website and the services offered on it accordingly and should make it easier for you to use our offers.

b) Which cookies do we use?

Most of the cookies we use are automatically deleted from your data carrier at the end of a session (hence session cookies). Session cookies are required, for example, to offer you the shopping cart function across several pages. In addition, we also use cookies that remain with you on the data carrier even after the session has ended. If you continue to use the website, it is automatically recognized that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you prefer. These temporary or permanent cookies (lifespan 1 month to a maximum of 2 years) are stored on your data carrier; the reference data stored on our web server for these cookies are automatically deleted after the specified time. In particular, these cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. The sole purpose of these cookies is to adapt our offer to your wishes as well as possible and to make your visit and use of our website as comfortable as possible.

c) What data is stored in the cookies?

No personal data is stored in the cookies we use. The cookies we use cannot be directly assigned to a specific person and therefore cannot be directly assigned to you. When the cookie is activated, it is assigned an identification number. We do not assign your personal data. On the basis of cookie technology, we may receive pseudonymised information, for example about which of our pages were visited and the services offered were used.

c) What data is stored in the cookies?

In your browser you can set that the storage of cookies is only accepted if you agree. In this way, if you refuse the corresponding consent, you can also object to the use of our cookies.

If you do not want us to recognize the computer or mobile device you are using, you can prevent cookies from being saved on your data carrier by selecting "do not accept cookies" in your browser settings. How this works in detail can be found in the instructions of your browser manufacturer. You can also use all cookies or other types of tracking (e.g. tracking pixels) using free browser add-ons such as "Adblock Plus" (https://adblockplus.org/de/) in combination with the "EasyPrivacy" list (https://easylist.to/), deactivate. If you do not accept cookies, however, this can restrict the functionality of our offers.

5. Use of Google Analytics

It is important to us to design our website as optimally as possible and thus to make it attractive for our visitors. To do this, we need to know which parts of it are received by our visitors and how.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us as the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

6. Social Media Plugins

We currently do not use any social media plugins.

7. Declaration on YouTube

We may use plugins from the provider YouTube on some of our websites.

YouTube is operated by YouTube LLC with its main office at 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube is represented by Google Inc. based at 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

If you call up the Internet pages of our website with such a plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the plugin is displayed. This transmits to the YouTube server which of our websites you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of YouTube, YouTube will assign this information to your personal user account. When using the plugin, for example by clicking the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your YouTube user account before using our website.

Further information on data processing and information on data protection by YouTube (Google) can be found athttp://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

8. Data security

We also use technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data that is collected or collected, in particular against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or against attacks by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

All forms are encrypted using SSL technology (128 bit) to prevent access by unauthorized third parties.

9. Right to information, correction and deletion

In principle, we will not save your data for longer than is necessary for the purposes stated in this data protection declaration or to comply with any statutory archiving or other storage obligations. You have the right to information about the data stored about you, its origin and recipient as well as the purpose of storage at any time. In addition, you have the right to correct incorrect data as well as to block and delete your personal data, as long as there are no statutory retention requirements. You can send an informal e-mail to contact@flashtex.de.

10. Right of withdrawal and objection

We would like to point out that you can revoke any data protection consent you may have given us at any time with effect for the future.

You can also object at any time to any creation of usage profiles by us for advertising and market research purposes as well as for the needs-based design of our website within the scope of this data protection declaration.

The best way to do this is to send an informal email to: contact@flashtex.de

11. Subject to change

We reserve the right to change this data protection declaration in the future. You should therefore regularly consult the data protection declaration when you visit this website. The current version of this data protection declaration applies when you visit.
